Lambda edizioni is an Italian book publisher that specializes in publishing the works of queer authors. The company was established with the mission of providing a platform for marginalized voices and promoting diversity and inclusivity in the literary world.


The first step in creating a new logo for Lambda edizioni was to conduct research on the company's history, mission, and target audience. The research aimed to understand the company's values, culture, and brand identity.


Once the research was completed, the next step was to start the design process. I worked on several concepts that reflected the company's values and mission. I wanted to create a logo that would be memorable, timeless, and reflect the company's commitment to promoting queer voices and stories.

Final Design:

After several iterations, I finally settled on a logo that captured the essence of Lambda edizioni. The logo features the Greek letter "λ" (lambda), which is a symbol that was used by the gay liberation movement in the 1970s. The lambda is stylized to resemble a book and a bookmark, which represents the company's focus on literature. The colour scheme features a vibrant range of colours, which represents diversity and inclusivity and bend their meaning to the different genres of books.


Once the final design was approved, the next step was to implement the new logo across all of the company's marketing channels, including book covers,its website, social media platforms, and print materials. The implementation process involved creating new business cards, letterheads, and promotional materials featuring the new logo.


The new Lambda edizioni logo has been well-received by both the company's employees and its customers. The logo has helped the company to create a stronger brand identity and distinguish itself as a publisher that specializes in promoting queer voices and stories. The use of the lambda symbol has historical significance, and it helps to communicate the company's commitment to LGBTQ+ representation in literature. The clean, modern design and bold use of colors have made the logo more memorable and recognizable, and it has helped the company to establish a stronger presence in the Italian publishing industry as a champion of LGBTQ+ literature. Overall, the new logo has been a success for Lambda edizioni, and it has helped the company to strengthen its position in the market.
